Export Full Project Backup
One JSON file (format v2) with every show, season, episode, segment, talent profile, answer, audio note, transcript, translation, runtime plan, and setting — and every storyboard and sketch image, each carried with an integrity check so a damaged file can never restore quietly.
Automatic Backups → Backup Folder
While the app is open, the studio backs itself up on the schedule below — records and images together, but only when something changed, so iCloud never fills with identical copies. The newest 60 per device are kept; manual exports are never touched.

Import / Restore Backup
Importing an older backup can replace current project data and remove newer episodes from your lists. Your current data is auto-exported before any restore, but export a copy yourself too.
Backups are plain files on your device — keep a copy somewhere safe (Files, iCloud Drive, a computer).
